Crystal Light

super short and quick pre-post (i'm planning to do an outfit tomorrow :D)

i completely cleaned up my shelf today, and i must say i'm pretty proud. i organized and threw away many things... put lots of necklaces in my sister's dress up box.. and dusted. i love my jewelry/accessories shelf! because i usually let my clothing do the work, i rarely wear jewelry. HOWEVER, i own a lot of jewelry (kind of paradoxical you might say) so i decided to make it at least look presentable for the sake of my eyes.

after i finished cleaning up, i played around with some silver wires and crystals that i had leftover.
i came up with the idea above, and have decided to replace that necklace with the one in my giveaway.
same crystal, different look--i believe the wire coils give it a more refined and finished look.

though i usually don't like putting my new purchases all together in one outfit, i could not resist with the romper and the buckle heels! i never tried mixing brown and black--it always seemed weird. But i felt that i was able to pull it off in this outfit, which i really love!
++i've also made my pictures full size and bigger in resolution (even if some pictures suck--sorry using my dad's camera!)
because YES, my camera has died..... i don't blame it because the poor thing is so old! (however, don't you think the quality was still pretty good?!) whenever i turn it on, the images are upside and blurry.. it's so weird.
anyways, still waiting for Nikon prices to go down a bit.. i don't know if i can handle it anymore!
someone please tell me where i can get a reasonably priced Nikon D3000, and i'll be a happy girl.

Chloé Resort 2011

It's been a while since I've reviewed a collection--however I've still been entirely caught up on recent runway shows.

Hannah Macgibbon never ceases to amaze me. This collection retained Chloe's aesthetic, but added a tinge of comfort and relaxation, making all the essential pieces so wearable and oh-so RESORT. With a few boxy silhouettes here and there, tailored jackets and fitted pants--everything stayed absolutely cohesive. The neutral color scheme worked fluently throughout the entire collection, even with a couple of blue shades.  Other pieces (not shown) did a well juxtaposition of textures, including velvets, leathers, and suedes. Lastly, leave it to the beautiful shoes to complete the collection. Chloe always leaves me waiting for more.

mmmm i LOVE this trench. i just found it in my closet (half of my mom's clothes are there for me to steal occasionally) and it has the perfect bells and whistles all over. from the collars to the belt buckles and random flaps to the ballooned sleeves, i ABSOLUTELY adore it. i'll get a more detailed picture once my camera is okay again (its malfunctioning) or until i get a new one.. i'm planning on a Nikon D3000.. i saw some online and they looked good..
