What I'm Wearing | Light & Dark Lace

I can definitely say that this is one of my more feminine looks. Even though pink and red can be feminine, sometimes it's the fabric that changes how the look is perceived. I mixed a lace overlay skirt from Taiwan (that I finally fit!) with a nice pale pink/beige blouse from Beginning Boutique with an awesome zipper down its back (forgot to take pictures, will next time!).  My hair was in a bun for most of the day, but I let it down and it became wavy (as in the first few pictures).

Be PROM PERFECT

GRECIAN GODDESS When it comes to long prom dresses, I usually steer away from anything that is anything like this. I'm a firm believer in the power of a simple dress. LOVELY LACE Lace is a tricky textile for longer lengths, so go for shorter hems in these intricate dresses. COLOR CODE One of my favorite ideas for prom is pairing a simple, block colored frock with an outstanding necklace that ups the whole look. Resort '13 | Paris Kickoff

CHANEL

Japanese influence (? I presume) intermingled with Parisian frills made this collection bizarre yet fascinating. I especially loved the faded florals, voluminous silhouettes, and the crisp whites in the last pieces.

I've been super busy with APs, schoolwork, college business, and tons of other things, so as you can sadly see, I've been unable to post.

Hopefully after this week, things begin to cool down and I can re-focus on blogging!
