Come on, come out, the weather is warm

SIZE L sweater (worn as dress... lulz): ross ;D, $10!!!
skinny leather boys belt: ross ($5)
lace up boots: DV for target
rings: (L-R) secondhand, crossroads exchange; forever 21; ebay

love this outfit, and although i'm wearing this as a dress... the 75-80 degree rays are hitting me and i feel like i'm burning (i rarely burn. RARELY.)

anyways, today i went shopping at the Irvine Spectrum and only went to like 3-4 stores, thank GOD. there were way too many people and way too many stores to browse through. plus every other girl was dressed like a "ho-ho dumpling" (Nathalie Neubert, 2010), in other words, denim shorts skimming their cheeks (you know what i'm talking about), CROP TOPS (for God's sake, you can only wear a crop top if you're someone like Chloe Sevigny and can actually style it right... -____-), and a brilliant rainbow of vans. i'm sorry, that's not how i roll. sometimes, when i wish that my city/area could just be a bit more fashion forward, i realize that i can differentiate myself THROUGH my style, which is something i've done through this blog and  since about freshman year :D

WELLLL, rant over.
those are all besides THE POINT: i got a gnarly pair of camel colored trousers from Foreign Exchange for $14, a black mermaid-ish hem maxi from F21, $10, and some SPECIAL things that will be going in a giveaway that is coming soon
(WHEN WE HIT 550//600, someone lucky will be winning some of my designs with a whole bunch of other goodies!)

+++Happy Martin Luther King Day! Thank you Dr. King for leading the movement to equality for everyone!

xx

I love love this outfit. You made the sweater work! without the belt, it wouldn't look as good. love the accessories too! the chunky but soft sweater texture contrasts with your bold boots really well. my fav pic is the last, the photo is just so natural and lovely.
