they called i the Chanel Contemporary Art Container. i call it FABULOSITY IN A BLOB MUSEUM. this museum may be the best one out there.
Chanel debuted this museum, traveling from Hong Kong to Tokyo to New York, in April to September of last year.
Installments included the SICKEST chanel bag in the world (above) by Sylvie Fleury. Her work, including this giant Chanel 2.55, is beyond amazing. The 2.55 also features a GIANT Chanel Makeup compact. HOW COOL is that?!?!
"In the futuristic pavilion by architect Zaha Hadid, 20 international contemporary artists will exhibit work inspired by the elements that give the emblematic quilted bag from CHANEL its' identity. Their unique visions, unexpected interpretations, poetic, cheeky, and inspirational, reveal the multiple facets of the emblematic bag in all the artistic expressions." (from the website)
