I fell in love with this story for SSAW Magazine featuring Miles McMillan and Hirschy Hirschfelder shot by Bjarne Johansson and styled by Oscar Lange after seeing it on TheFashionisto.  The clean cut androgynous pieces in this editorial are making me want to drape myself in tailored men's pieces, a few sizes larger for an oversized, slouchy feel. xx INSTAGRAM | BLOGLOVIN' | FACEBOOK

EDITORIAL | Out in L.A.

During my last few weeks at home in California, I was able to shoot together with my talented friend and photographer David Cortes. We met last year through instagram/mutual friends while he was staying in NYC and shot together a lot! 
This is our newest editorial for FE and I'm so excited because it's the most color I've ever styled (haha) and I'm very happy with the outcome.

ZARA fw13

images via zara So I logged onto Zara today on a mission to purchase something I've been eyeing for a while and I was instantly awestruck by their amazing new campaign for FW13.  I love how there is a great variety of design aesthetics but they all seem to flow together really cohesively. The boxy pocketed coats and voluminous skirts are serious contenders to the lace dresses with hats and those prairie floral print pieces.  It all gets me so stoked for fall, you know? xx INSTAGRAM | BLOGLOVIN' | FACEBOOK

So every year around this time I am already pumped for the fall season and all its greatness. (This may be partially due to the fact that it actually looks like fall most of the time in SoCal summers; the sky is gray as I write this and it's 68 degrees F). 
Plenty of dark leather paired with a generous amount of layering á la Haider Ackermann is literally what I am trying to go for this season. My closet is actually slowly being overtaken by dark outerwear, no joke! I love the coated cableknit sweater in the last look, which I swooned over during the last last menswear season. Everything I'm looking for this fall--hey girls can wear menswear too!
