Camel Double Breasted Blazer: DKNY, my mom's
Oatmeal Draped and Hooded: random
Highwaisted denim cutoffs: asian branded sweater:
Cross buckle heels: UO
Mini doctor bag: mom
very very comfortable outfit... i love everything with the neutral tones. i used shades of brown, nude, camel, etc.. and put it all together--small accents of blue denim and black finished the look.

And Memory Knows This
MY NEW BABIES!!!
i've been looking for plain black wedges EVERYWHERE.. and i finally found them for the bestestestsestsetst price on earth.
they came in less than"5-10 days", so i'm quite happy.
i just ordered them and i LOVE them to death.
they're from f21 and they were $US 26.
i love love love love them.
i didn't expect the wedge to be that high---but i'm fine with it.
+++ just got my dance costumes in yesterday. i'll post up my lyrical one soon (it's my favorite :D)
also,,, expect an outfit post with the wedges soon (friday? -- i love them too much)
Questions Answered!!
Do you do professional modeling?
no, i'm too short :3
What is your all-time favorite food?
probably italian food, like canneloni, fettucine, lasagna, anything with spices, sauce.. LOVE.
What is one trend you are loving right now?
i'm definitely in love with neutrals. it's just so easy to pair with other colors. and it can either be very classy and chic or casual.
What would you like to do career-wise after school?
i hope that my creativity takes me somewhere. i'm not even quite sure what college i want to go to, but i'm pretty sure mymajor will be related to art/graphic/fashion/design..!
Who/what is your favorite band/musician?
Probably The Honey Trees.. i listen to them and they give me so much inspiration. Her voice is so calm and soothing.
Who are your greatest inspirations?
can it be a "what?" haha -- mostly my clothes. when i see a piece of clothing it gives me a vision--something i could wear with it/an environment to wear it in. i also love alexa chung, daisy lowe, and chloe sevigny's style. breathtaking.
What are you most afraid of?
probably being a failure. i don't like making mistakes (but we all do!). another fear would also be embarassing myself in public...
Where would you most like to visit?
i would LOVE to visit europe (that's quite the cliche answer!) where, especially? probably southern france. i heard it's beauitful.. and well.. actually anywhere in france!

Printed In The Pages
my outfit today: DIY bow headband, DIY eyelashes tunic, black tights, and vintage charles jourdan bag, OH and not pictured (ok, well you've seen them--f21 patent oxfords)
the weather has finally cooled down! .. for a while. i heard that it would jump up to the 80's during the weekend. and i loathe tomorrow simply because i have piano class. i took a 2 week break after Certificate of Merit and now i'm back to practicing songs for next year.. no more "TGIF's"
EXCITEMENT!: my forever 21 purchase came in yesterday night.. and i was NOT dissappointed. I LOVE this cut. it's a drapey sweater that i ordered a larger size than usual (medium) and it fits just how i want it. i had been wanting one of those "flowy" sweaters for a while, but was looking for something unconventional. UNLIKE the pictures, the back of the sweater is actually pretty long--just how i wanted it. i like the grungy feel of it, but i can't put a finger on what runway look inspired these sweaters.
i have found use for my old leather belt, studs, and miniscule chains that my friend bought for me!
*** 100% my own design and work***
this piece is called "The Kirtland"--named after THE friend that bought the chains :)
so.. i need YOUR opinion.
is this piece worth selling on my etsy (i regret to say.. i have only one item put up.. and no one has offered anything so i kinda gave up for a while :/ ) ??
tell me your thoughts... as you are the normal consumers in the fashion world :D
YAY! detail oriented post for once .

OMG . this must be the best day ever!!!
it's only monday (which i usually hate) but i've discovered and worn wonderful things today XD
1) outfit-- gray oversized sweater tee from hallway closet, black bandage skirt: f21, fringe necklace: connected to a shirt from polka dot, spike bracelet: my DIY.
i was excited about wearing my new skirt from F21--$5!!! it does not get any better than that! haha. added to that: another DIY, made with a leather belt that was dying and some spikes from studsandspikes.com. i got many compliments and several requests about the spiked bracelet :)
ALSO: aced my test on WWI!!! haha yesssss. alliances, ententes, generals, mini-wars, weapons. and all that crap. over! and there was no essay, it made me so happy.
last thing: YAY i'm #3 on the hot page! check out the look here :D
thanks for all who support me on lookbook

i finally broke-fast today! celebrate with in-n-out, cookies, and such really make 30 hours worth while ! haha. other than that, my eyes were really opened to the sadness and despair around the world. the fact that there is are organizations out there that i can participate in to help these third world countries makes me feel very grateful.
thanks for the nice comments about the 30 hour famine! they made me smile :)
next: this is what i wore today.. yes the rain cleared up finally!!
pink ruffle blouse: Ralph Lauren, vintage high-waisted tweed-ish trousers, leather belt from my dad
it was all pretty comfortable.
AHHH: forgot to mention: pink bunny ring from F21! so excited. i was looking in their little dish of rings that they usually have right next to the cash register before i paid for my clothes and i spotted that little cutie. I WAS IMMEDIATELY IN LOVE. i love how it's kind of irregular.. when i picked it up it just seemed to be not run-of-the-mill or regular in any way. btw, just in time for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland!! excited for that :D
lastly: RECEIVED THIS WONDERFUL RODARTE FOR TARGET DRESS FROM Ava, @ Style Bird and i love it!!
so amazing. the sequins are truly gorgeous over the grayed leopard print. thanks ava! ♥♥
ewww. studying for my ap euro test tomorrow >:/
I HATE world war one. pointless crap.

I'm so excited i just got my package from studsandspikes!!! :D

The Etsy Bitsy Spider
(click for larger images)
finally, camera's back to work! but i still need to charge some batteries (yes, my camera is ghetto beyond comprehension)
but i took a few snaps of my new patent oxfords from f21, they're gleaming and WONDERFUL :D
$25 is decent. i like how shiny they are, and i can wear them with anything yayayy!
shoe collection L-R (these are the ones i USUALLY wear.. others include converse and other flats)
boots from etienne aigner, laceup wedges from dolce vita, patent oxfords from f21, patent strap flats from tjmaxx, and DIY white laceup shoes.
i love it. :)
all i need is something nude!!! i've been looking everywhere, closest: urban outfitters three banded skimmer, $20. i really don't want to pay over 15 for another pair of shoes , yes i am a frugal person most of the time, but they were so flippin' gorgeous. i'm waiting for them to go down to 10. letsee how that works haha!
last things
just bought 70 studs and spikes.. so i'm really looking forward to more DIYS, hope you guys are too! :) some of which may be going in my etsy! VVV
+++i just got a credit/debit/giftcard(?) AmEx so i can finally open up my etsy shop. meanwhile, i'm torn between these two names: originally, "The Menagerie"... and then i thought of "DropShop" .. it makes me think of Topshop!!! haha. that's why i like it. sooooo vote! (poll on right side nav bar →)
this decision accounts for what goes on my banner (even though my link has 'the menagerie' in it, meh)

WHO NEEDS WOLFORD WHEN YOU'VE GOT TARGET?
(click for larger images)
on my outing yesterday: dim sum, target, michaels.
dim sum is always good, if you get the right thing. i ate 蘿蔔糕 (turnip cake.. amazing), 麵條 (thick rice noodles!), and a kajillion other things. it was really good.
man i was excited to go to target, but was disappointed in the selection of that specific store. anyhoo, i went through the sock section and found THOSE amazing dip dyed gradient tights!!! :D i had been meaning to do a DIY but i was too scared.. i should just stick with embellishing haha. they're really beautiful: grayish white to navy blue at the toes. and they were only $5 ! who needs wolford when you've got target? (even though i have a pair of wolfords :P) ANNNND i spotted these cute little kiddie charm bracelets without the charm, and they were only a dollar each! great find, because they're actually REALLY GOOD quality and super shiny (though we all know that's gonna rub off soon ahah), a little gunmetal ish.
michael's was the last stop. THEY'RE ALWAYS OUT OF SILVER CHAINS@#^^ it pisses me off so much, you know? it's like every single time i go there, i never find them in stock. bleh. at least i got those two bracelets @ target :] then i got 2 packages of black feathers for a special diy surprise.. coming soon.. maybe in my etsy shop as soon as my dad gets me a credit card just for the shop! i hope i have time doing these things (OKAY, i WILL have time: president's week off and spring break!)

waves of nostalgia

wedges: $10, UO
close up detail wedge
sequin and chain shoulder tunic: $15, f21
closeup shoulder
GORGEOUS beige tulle and black lace bodice dress that i didn't buy: $26, f21
charles jourdan stitched white leather chain purse: vintage
back from my recent (okay.. like 2 hours ago! haha) shopping trip with my friend nicolette. it was amazing, though there were SO MANY people. forever 21: SWARMING, urban outfitters: SWARMING (surprisingly the checkout line went SUPER fast!) i'm so glad i found those ^ wonderful pieces, at great prices!
we approached f21 with wary eyes, expecting large crowds, which is what we got. so we probably stayed there for like ever, and found only a couple of things... but they were so great!
the twelve by twelve section had the wonderful sequin and chain shoulder tunic, which was at a pretty good price of $19. when i took out my wallet, i used the rest of my f21 giftcard, and so i got 5 dollars off- for a total of $15!! :D i'm so happy, i love it. it really stands out!
then we went to UO, also expecting people=which is what we got as well. all of the sale section was an extra 50% off! (which is why i HAD to go shopping today :D). i picked up a cool leather skirt that was $10, but i never tried it on. then i kind of snaked my way through the busy hipsters to the shoe section, where the wedges that i bought were sitting. FLASHBACK: black friday, 7:31 a.m. i saw the shoes, which were originally $88, on sale for 39.99, plus an extra 50% off sooo. like 20 dollas. i was contemplating whether or not to buy them, but i eventually didn't
AND I'M GLAD I DIDN'T! cuz i got them for $10 today!!! i was so surprised when i was at the register because when she rang it up, it came to only 10, and it was supposed to be 20!! :D
also saw a pair of super cute black studded pointy skimmers (almost bought them!) for 19.99 plus extra 50% off and ANOTHER extra 50% so like $5! (you see, i didn't know it was THAT big of an extra sale so i didn't buy them... 1 pair is enough.. but they were sooo great!)
the last two pictures=this dress took my breath away!
it looked like a million bucks: in other words, something from chanel, with the beige/nude and black theme! i found it in the twelve by twelve section at f21 (the best section there) and it immediately caught my eye. i tried it on and it was BEAUTIFUL ,,,, but i didn't feeling like dropping almost 30 for it. it really reminded me of the RODARTE FOR TARGET beige chiffon dress mixed with the black version.
bye bye beautiful *tear*
love the white bag^ ! i found it while look for my comfiest AA sweats (lost for two weeks.. but found now :D) in the garage. i love it so much!
hope you guys are having a wonderful winter break
SEEING SNOW ON TUESDAY! hopefully not just on the ground... but falling :]

sorry for lack of posts! but i'm very glad to see that i have gained several more followers; I LOVE YOU ALL! :D
well, recently i did a piece of work based on a prada (season unknown!!!) shoe. medium: colored pencil, marker, ink. the original picture : HERE. (if you know what season it is, tell me please! thanks!) as you can see, parts of the shoe are different color, such as the heel. i decided to replace some colors with patterns, because i LOVE patterns a lot.
the second picture is my new ring!!! i love it. ($3.80, f21) it's very bejeweled as you can see, and i love wearing it with bunches of different outfits. it's the piece that you can wear to a really nice outing, or with something casual.
last two pictures: from latest issue of RIVIERA mag. i love these both because they were in the same spread and seemed to reflect the style and look of each other. the valentino separates are all beautiful themselves. the lace top is so intricate, and the off-white color really captures the eye. the skirt adds some sheen and glamour to the whole look they put together, and the shoes are simply scrumptious! the christian lacroix is so voluminous and the material is simply gorgeous, it looks so luxuriant and rich. i adore the layering of the different shades and textures of black. the light lace overlay is really amazing.
+++MUCH THANKS TO FASHION JINX, for jinxing me!
